President and Chief Executive Officer, Arnprior Regional Health
Eric Hanna is the President and CEO of Arnprior Regional Health, one of Ontario’s first integrated health services across the continuum care. As a visionary leader Eric has engaged the staff and board of directors in evidenced based leadership in pursuit of “being recognized for exemplary care”. Recognition of this leadership includes the receipt of the Chairman’s Award for Distinguished Community Service from the Arnprior Chamber of Commerce, and most recently the Small and Rural Hospital Leadership award from the Ontario Hospital Association.
Eric has over 30 years of health care experience obtained in hospitals across Ontario and as a Director of one of Canada’s largest consulting firms. Eric has a MBA from the University of Toronto and received his CA designation early in his career. He is a Certified Health Care Executive with Canadian College of Health Care Executives and is a Fellow with the American College of Health Services Executives.
Eric is a member of several task groups working with the Champlain LHIN and Provincial Expert Panels in the development and implementation of integrated service delivery models for both clinical and non-clinical services. Mr. Hanna is a member of the MoH LTC Advisory Committee overseeing the current long term care bed redevelopment program; in addition he represents small hospitals in various health system funding reform MoH committees.
As an active community volunteer Eric has been involved with the community boards of Durham Community Care Access Centre, Victorian Order of Nurses, and Durham College Accounting Advisory Committee. Eric is currently the Past Chair of the Ontario Division of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind and now sits as a director on the National Board of the CNIB.
