With more than 2,000 Arnprior residents over the age of 65 years, it has become increasingly difficult for many people living in the Arnprior area to find nearby long-term care.
That’s why the new, modern and expanded Grove Nursing Home will transform seniors’ care in our community.
The new Grove will:
1. Provide increased capacity from 60 to 96 residents
2. Create a fresh, bright community-style of living by dividing the space into three distinct neighbourhoods each with its own living room, dining room, activity room, bedrooms and access to a secure courtyard with a walking path, seating areas and gardens
3. Facilitate leading care practices in caring for residents with dementia
4. Allow for enhanced privacy for all residents
As part of the Come Home to Great Care Campaign, we have committed to achieving the $4-million fundraising goal that is critical for the successful completion of the new and expanded Grove.
The cost of new and upgraded medical equipment in hospitals is not covered by government funding. That’s why investments in state-of-the-art technologies for the best screening, diagnostics and treatment wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our donors.
In order to continue to provide leading technologies, like digital mammography, we must come together as a community to raise the necessary funds to ensure the best technology is available locally for our family members, friends, neighbours and colleagues in the moments they need it most.
As part of the Come Home to Great Care Campaign, our community is raising $1 million dollars that support the greatest equipment needs for the hospital that enable the Emergency Department, Operating Room, Inpatient Unit, Special Care Unit and Diagnostic Imaging to deliver the right care at the right time.
