Barb Darlow

Barb Darlow Chair, Arnprior Regional Health Board of Directors

Barb is currently the Chair of Arnprior Regional Health, a corporation that manages an acute care facility, a long-term care facility and a variety of community-based services. She has been the Chair since 2015, and a director since 2013. She has also chaired the Resources Committee and represents the corporation along with the CEO at various public events.

In her non-volunteer life, Barb is a Certified Management Account and has spent the bulk of her almost 35 year career principally in the Ottawa technology sector, advising various companies as a Chief Financial Officer. As such she brings a keen interest in optimizing financial performance and other process-driven metrics.

Barb graduated from Queen’s University in 1982 with an Honours degree in Commerce. She lives outside Arnprior with her husband and has two almost-adult children – Connor, who is a proud member of the Canadian Forces, and Emily, who has just finished her first year at mom’s alma mater.
